Matt Bruns

Matt BrunsTroy High School – Fish and Wildlife Science (11th – 12th grades)

Matt attended Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio and earned an associates degree in fish and wildlife management.  He then moved to Idaho to finish his bachelors degree in wildlife resources at the University of Idaho. Matt worked seasonally for the Idaho Fish and Game Department for a few years before returning to the University of Idaho in education where he completed his masters degree in curriculum and instruction. He has been working as a science teacher in the Troy School District for nine years. Matt enjoys working with the students in Troy because they share many similar interests including hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. For Matt, it is fun to work in a small school where he has the opportunity to build close relationships with students, faculty, and community members.
